Tyler

Tyler Everhart

Coordinating Producer

A small-town kid at heart, Tyler is a lifelong North Carolinian whose passion for sports led him straight into television. In more than a decade with the company, he’s the company’s Swiss Army knife, tackling just about every role imaginable: producer, editor, media manager, meticulous organizer—often all at the same time.

When Tyler’s not chasing deadlines or missed free throws, he’s usually chasing his young son around the driving range—so it’s only fitting that he spends his days producing 5 Clubs for Golf Channel that launched in January 2025 and airs three days a week. At home and at work, Tyler’s philosophy is simple: put people first, and everything else falls into place, except his 4 footers.

Justin

Justin Oppman

Technical Operations Manager

As Technical Operations Manager, Justin wears many hats. With 30+ years of experience he has the skills and knowledge to guide MSA in this technology driven business. When he’s not technical directing “5 Clubs Golf” on The Golf Channel, you can find him lighting, shooting, doing sound or problem solving an equipment issue.

If you catch Justin outside of his television habitat, he is usually working on or riding a bicycle. It is a lifelong passion, fueled by the freedom of being on two wheels.

Sam

Sam Howe

Creative Director

Overseeing MSA’s creative process from idea conception to post production, Sam is the special sauce behind your next project’s stunning visuals. As our resident pixel polisher, he thrives on finding unique ways to connect the dots, making sure each project stands out from the crowd.

Shooting, directing, producing, editing, you name it – if it’s in the world of media – Sam has probably dabbled in it. With experience spanning Olympic Games, Super Bowls, and countless video campaigns, he has an eye for unique storytelling… at least that’s what he told us to write here. When he’s not wrangling a video timeline in one of our post suites, he enjoys traveling the world, cooking, and dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Jeff

Jeff Barnhill

Director of Photography

Jeff is the Director of Photography at MSA, with over 30 years of experience and a sharp eye for visual storytelling. His work spans news, sports, documentaries, commercials, and corporate video—showcasing both his versatility and creative excellence that have earned him nine prestigious Emmy awards at both regional and national levels, reflecting his unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in videography.

When Jeff is not summoning you to the viewfinder on his camera to celebrate the light refraction he’s proudly captured dancing across his lens, he’s exploring new horizons in his RV camper, traveling to scenic destinations, hiking rugged trails, catching thrilling races, enjoying baseball games, or tackling home improvement projects. Although, he lives out of a suitcase on the road almost every week, so we’re not sure how much home improvement his suitcase needs.

Sean

Sean O'Donnell

Executive Producer

An industry legend in his own mind, Sean has spent 54 years watching television and 25 years actually putting things on it. A producer, editor, creative director, salesperson, and occasional dishwasher, he’s worked tirelessly to shovel the coal to make this locomotive go. His motto? “Culture is what you do when you think nobody is looking.” And he’s absolutely certain that if he’s doing it, nobody’s looking.

But behind the humor is a relentless passion for building and maintaining professional and personal relationships in the business. Sean believes great content is crafted with purpose, vision, and an unwavering dedication to the people it serves. For him, every project is personal, and every success is shared.
